Shri Suchindra Misra, KP Chair 2026 and Special Secretary, Govt. of India, along with Shri Saket Kumar, Senior Advisor to KP Chair and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and Shri Tariq Thomas, Advisor to KP Chair and Director, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, visited the GJEPC head office in Mumbai on 11th May on the sidelines of the ongoing KP Intersessional 2026 meeting.
The KP leadership was welcomed by Shri Kirit Bhansali, Chairman, GJEPC; Shri Anoop Mehta, Convenor – Diamond Panel, GJEPC; and Shri Sabyasachi Ray, Deputy Advisor to the KP Chair and Executive Director, GJEPC. As the nodal agency for the Kimberley Process in India, GJEPC briefed the delegation on the functioning of the KP department and related operational processes.
