MSME Seminar in Agra Explores Strategies to Boost Exports Beyond ₹7,500 Crore

The MSME Development & Facilitation Center, Agra, recently organised a national seminar on export promotion under the theme “Breaking Borders, Building Businesses” at Hotel Opal Courtyard, NH-19, Sikandra.

Chief guest Mr. A. Bipin Menon, ITS, Chairman & CEO of NSEZ, Noida, inaugurated the event, attended by dignitaries including Dr. R.K. Bharti, IEDS, Joint Director, MSME DFO Delhi.

Mr. Menon highlighted export schemes under the Ministry of Commerce and stressed infrastructure, finance, and marketing as key to boosting Agra’s exports beyond ₹7,500 crore. He also emphasised India’s need to strengthen trade ties with key global markets.

Mr. Sanjeev Bhatia, Regional Director, GJEPC, discussed jewellery export opportunities via e-commerce and courier services, particularly benefiting women entrepreneurs. He invited participants to training programs on export strategies.

With over 250 attendees, the seminar saw strong engagement, reinforcing MSMEs’ role in driving export growth.
