DMCC has appointed Neil Ventura as Special Advisor within its Precious Stones Ecosystem, further reinforcing its leadership in the global diamond and precious stones industry.
Ventura brings over three decades of international experience to the role, having previously held senior positions at De Beers and Anglo American. At De Beers, he led initiatives including the De Beers Auction Sales platform, Tracr blockchain technology, Lightbox lab-grown diamonds, and the social impact project GemFair.
At DMCC, Ventura will advise on strategic initiatives across the Precious Stones Ecosystem, anchored by the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DDE. His mandate includes advancing DMCC’s market development efforts, providing expertise on natural and lab-grown diamonds, compliance, ethical sourcing, and driving global visibility to attract new industry players.
In addition to his new role, Ventura serves as an Expert Advisor to Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and advisor at Antler, a global early-stage venture capital firm, maintaining strong ties to the international innovation and startup communities.
