Swiss luxury group Richemont said its jewellery maisons, comprising Buccellati, Cartier, and Van Cleef & Arpels, saw sales rise by +41% year on year to €3.34 billion in Q3 of FY2022 that ended 31st December 2021.
The jewellery maisons were the strongest performing business area for the luxury group, it said.
The stellar 55% sales progression versus Q3 2019 at the jewellery maisons was broad-based across product lines and price points, it noted. Sales grew double digits in all regions and across all channels.
Jewellery accounted for nearly 60% of Richemont’s total Q3 revenue of €5.65 billion.
The Americas led Q3 growth with sales up by 55%, followed by Europe and Middle East and Africa, where sales grew by 42% and 30%, respectively.
Japan and Asia Pacific saw sales increase by 22% and 18%, respectively, with China consolidating at a high level of +7%.
