The curation for the auction is a meticulous process and takes nearly two-and-a-half months. Sagar states, “I focus on finding unique and rare pieces that people may not find in everyday life. This auction, particularly, showcases extremely interesting lots that captivated me when I saw them. The selection is an amalgamation of understated elegant pieces as well as elaborate statement jewellery. Personally, I find great joy and satisfaction in finding unique jewellery and gemstones that showcase the epitome of craftsmanship, and I believe it reflects in this auction’s collection as well. Among several impressive vintage brooches that collectors will find of interest, the auction also has two lots of Viren Bhagat, one of which is a pair of carved emerald and diamond ear clips and the other a carved emerald and diamond ring. “The old European cut diamond ring by Mellerio, the iconic Parisian jeweller, is an unusual find that pleasantly surprised me,” Sagar reveals.
