GJEPC successfully conducted a seminar in Surat last week on the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the gem and jewellery sector, attracting over 400 industry professionals.
The event, spearheaded by GJEPC’s Gujarat Regional Chairman Mr. Vijay Mangukiya, provided a comprehensive overview of GJEPC’s initiatives and their role in shaping the industry’s future. A highlight of the seminar was a live demonstration of jewellery design using ChatGPT, where attendees actively participated by providing prompts to influence the design process.
The potential of Augmented Reality (AR) in revolutionising e-commerce sales was also showcased, underscoring its practical applications for the industry. Furthermore, the Export Licensing Procedure ELP division outlined the GJEPC developed SOPs and encouraged attendees to adopt these for streamlined business operations.
The seminar concluded with a presentation on the upcoming IIJS event, inviting Ahmedabad retailers to participate.
