The International Institute of Gemology (IIG) marked a significant milestone with its 30th 2023-24 convocation ceremony to honour the achievements of 150 students, in Mumbai on 3rd August.
The convocation was a global affair, with students travelling from Kenya, Nairobi, UAE, and Sri Lanka to attend in person, while others joined virtually via Zoom.
Rahul Desai, CEO and Managing Director of IIG, presided over the event. The chief guest at the event was Ajit Mauskar, Director, World Gold Council.
The felicitation was conducted for mainly three segments: Gemology, Diamond, and Jewellery Designing and Merchandising for the Graduates and Master’s Programs, followed by the distribution of trophies and certificates.
Gunjan Sapra, COO & HOD, Design Department spoke about IIG’s offerings, emphasising the institute’s mission to provide education in all formats.
