Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC, delivered a compelling address at the 6th ICC Gems and Jewellery Summit 2024, held at the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi on 8th November. His speech underscored the transformative initiatives and strategic advancements propelling India’s gems and jewellery industry onto the global stage.
Mr. Ray emphasised the theme of the summit, “Innovate, Elevate, Globalise,” highlighting key initiatives such as IJEX Dubai, lab-grown diamond research, IJPM, digital transformation, strategic trade agreements, and international marketing collaborations. He noted GJEPC’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration, setting new benchmarks for the industry and reinforcing India’s leadership in fine jewellery craftsmanship and innovation.
