The Gem & Jewellery Skill Council of India (GJSCI), in partnership with the Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC), hosted a two-day Special Women Empowerment Programme under Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) in Panchgaon, Kolhapur, aimed at uplifting micro-entrepreneurs in the imitation jewellery sector.
On 4 August, expert trainer Yasmin led a Skill Development Workshop for 49 women, introducing modern imitation jewellery design techniques to enhance creativity, quality, and market relevance. The following day, financial expert Mr. Ashutosh Patil conducted a Financial and Digital Literacy Workshop for 50 participants, covering budgeting, financial planning, digital tools, and government loan schemes to boost business sustainability.
