Government Extends RoDTEP Scheme for Exports Till March 2026

The Ministry of Commerce & Industry has announced the extension of the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme beyond its earlier deadline of 30th September 2025. The scheme will now remain applicable for exports from Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) units, Advance Authorisation (AA) holders, Special Economic Zones (SEZs), and Export Oriented Units (EOUs) till 31st March 2026.

According to the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) notification, existing RoDTEP rates will continue to apply to all eligible export items. The scheme’s implementation will, however, remain within the budgetary framework of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023.

The list of eligible export items, along with rates and per-unit value caps, can be accessed on the DGFT website under “Regulations > RoDTEP.”

The move ensures continuity of support for exporters across sectors, providing relief amidst global trade challenges.
