Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care – Bringing joy in the lives of the underprivileged: Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care (SRLC) is an initiative of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur to offer service and bring joy in the lives of the underprivileged sections of society. Inspired by Shrimad Rajchandraji and guided by Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai, the NGO’s holistic, multi-pronged community support and development programmes are powered by genuine empathy, love and care of highly motivated volunteers.

SRLC is constantly striving to deliver high quality, charitable and sustainable initiatives for the welfare of mankind, animals and the environment. The initiatives, managed by selfless volunteers are spread over fifty cities worldwide with the primary focus being the upliftment of one of the poorest rural areas of India in south Gujarat. In this area, the NGO runs a charity hospital, a centre for physically challenged, two schools, a science college, a skill development centre, an animal shelter home, amongst over fifty other social initiatives.

Ekta Parishad – Working for land and forest rights: Ekta Parishad is a non-violent Gandhi-inspired social movement in India working for land and forest rights at the national level. It has been built up over the last 25 years, growing from local to state to national, and finally to international level.

A federation of approximately 11,000 community based organizations and thousands of individual members, Ekta Parishad’s goal is to carry out land reform to enable the marginalized and poorest segments of the society to come out of poverty.

Manav Vikas Jeevan Samiti – Making villages self-sufficient: An initiative of Ekta Parishad, Manav Vikas Jeevan Samiti is an NGO based in Madhya Pradesh that works towards making villages self-sufficient through a variety of initiatives such as creation of selfhelp groups (SHGs), land and water management, health management, agriculture training, distribution of essentials, and providing educational scholarships. Manav Jeevan Vikas Samiti has built dams in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and a few other states. They build dams on deserted land and dry lakes so that in monsoon water accumulates in those dry land and lakes, which can be used for farming, animals’ drinking purposes, etc. This has helped hundreds of villages and thousands of farmers. The Samiti has built approximately 25 dams and revived dry lakes till now.

Since the last 45 years, Ekta Parishad has been negotiating with the Government of India for the land rights of the farmers and poor people. Lakhs of people have got a piece of land through this effort, and their efforts are on even today.
