The GJEPC’s MSME Department conducted an awareness session on its Parichay Card Drive, Membership Benefits and MSME Schemes on 6th December 2021 along with the Daiwadnya Suvarnkar Kalakar Maghi Ganeshotsav Mandal (DSKMGM), an association based in Kalwa, Thane on the outskirts of Mumbai.
Naren Kotak of Edelwiess briefed attendees on the Parichay Card and Swasthya Kosh benefits and explained the process to register karigars.
The topics covered during the session were:
- Documentation required, procedures to follow, how and whom to approach to avail the subsidies/grants and loans
- International/Domestic Exhibition Participation: Procurement and Marketing Support Scheme (PMSS), International Cooperation (IC) Scheme, IIJS Exhibition awareness and discounts
- Discounts on machinery buying and selling
- Bank Loans: Credit facilitation through banks under bank tie-up scheme
- NSIC schemes and programmes
- Technology support and infrastructure support
- MOUs, collaboration benefits: Yes Bank, e-commerce, eBay, Godrej, MakeMyTrip and Motor Insurance.
This was the second of two awareness sessions conducted with DSKMGM and the Kalwa Bengali Swarnashilpi Association, both of which have registered for the Parichay Card and have shown an interest in Sfurti and GJEPC Membership benefits.
