The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) Regional Office in Delhi launched its inaugural training program, How to Start Export of Gems and Jewellery. The program, designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the export and import processes, is being offered in a hybrid mode, catering to both in-person and online learners. The one-day and three-day sessions are tailored to equip participants with the necessary skills to embark on successful careers in the gems and jewellery export industry.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Mr. Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman – North, GJEPC, who welcomed the experienced faculty member, Mr. Ranjan Upreti, a seasoned expert with a proven track record in MSME and other institutions.
Mr. Sanjeev Bhatia, Regional Director – North, GJEPC, emphasised the program’s comprehensive curriculum, which covers a wide range of topics essential for aspiring exporters. Mr. Ashok Seth, drawing on his decades of experience in exports, highlighted the program’s significance as a pioneering initiative and announced plans for future training sessions.
Dr. R.K. Bharti, Joint Director of MSME and Head DFO, joined the ceremony virtually and addressed the participants, commending the expertise of the faculty and encouraging them to approach the program with enthusiasm and dedication. He shared his “Four D” principle—Desire, Determination, Discipline, and Dedication—as a guiding principle for success.
