Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., a leading Indian diamond manufacturer and exporter, organised a blood donation and platelet awareness drive in BKC, Mumbai to celebrate its 30th Anniversary. The drive, which was open to all, collected a total of 617 units of blood and received multiple registrations of people pledging to donate platelets.
The event was graced by chief guests including bankers from SBI, BOI, Canara Bank and UBI, Krishna Prakash, IG, Rajan Shah, a motivational speaker, and Hiten Anandpara, a writer and poet. Joining them were prominent stakeholders, well-wishers, and other dignitaries from the gem and jewellery industry.
A total of 12,772 units of blood have been collected till date from all the blood donation drives hosted by HK Group, it noted. Each year, the company organises three such events at its Surat and Mumbai offices.
