HK Exports Promotes Employee Health At Annual Sports Day

Hari Krishna Group held its Annual Sports Day at the Air India Ground, Mumbai on 26th February to promote health benefits among its employees, reduce stress, and build teamwork among colleagues. The chief guests of the event included Sanjay Bhatia, IAS, the Upa-Lokayukta of Maharashtra, and dignitaries from the diamond industry.

More than 900 HK employees along with their family members took part in sports such as cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, tug-of-war, kho-kho and box cricket, among others. The event saw active participation of female employees in each of these sports, the company said. 

Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director, HK Exports, said, “Playing multiple sports has a number of advantages. We, at HK, promote development in our employees. Sports offer us several benefits, like healthier hearts, reduced stress and anxiety, diverse social connections, and teamwork. Our employees played each game with great sportsmanship and supported the event.” The sports day ended with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winners of the cricket tournament were felicitated with trophies and a cash prize of Rs.1,01,000, the runner-up team got Rs.51,000, and the 2nd runner-up got Rs.25,000. For the remaining games, the winners were awarded Kisna Diamond Jewellery vouchers, branded activity tracker watches, and branded shoes worth Rs.3,000 to Rs.10,000 along with trophies and medals, which included a high percentage of female winners.
