The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show have been postponed due to the imposition of stricter Covid protocols, the organiser HKTDC said in a notice on its website. The Government has announced a tightening of existing social distancing measures.
“Premises regulated under the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) will be closed until 20 April,” the notice read.
Considering these measures and the current pandemic situation, a decision has been made to reschedule the two shows from 14-18 April, 2022, to 29 July-2 August, 2022, to be held alongside the HKTDC Simply Shopping Fest at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Both fairs will be open to the public in order to help exhibitors capture local retail opportunities, it noted.
