Polki jewellery symbolises a critical element of the traditional cultural diamond heritage of India, HRD Antwerp said, adding that the jewellery has gained in popularity on the international market too. Ellen Joncheere, CEO, HRD Antwerp, said it was essential for HRD Antwerp to bring additional value to these timeless jewels.

Sanjay Shah, Convenor, Diamond Panel Committee, GJEPC, noted, “I am confident that this new product will surely address the needs of the industry. I can assure you that the Indian gem and jewellery industry provides you with ample opportunities to market this product. I congratulate the entire team of HRD Antwerp for the new product and wish you a lot of success.”

Farah Khan Ali said the report for polki jewellery would uplift consumer confidence when purchasing jewellery.

India is the main market for polki jewellery and the new report will enhance the buying experience of Indian brides, commented Pierre-Emmanuel Brusselmans. Jayant Kulkarni added that the report would place India on the world map for its jewellery quality, designs, and manufacturing techniques.
