The International Institute of Gemology (IIG), South marked its first anniversary and inaugurated a Jewellery Manufacturing Training Unit on 15th August, 2022. The institute also held a convocation ceremony and launched a Jewellery Manufacturing Techniques, Diploma Program on the same day.
The chief guest for the occasion was Prasant Mehta, President, Jewellers Association Bengaluru (JAB) and the guests of honour were Anushree, a TV anchor and actress from the Kannada film industry, and Hetal Vakil Valia, a jewellery designer and consultant. Also present were Rahul Desai, Director, IIG, and Sumesh Wadhera, MD, The Art of Jewellery along with other dignitaries, staff and students.
