IIGJ Jaipur Opens Second Collection Centre in Johari Bazaar

IIGJ Lab, a project by GJEPC, launches a Collection Centre in the premises of Jewellers Association of Jaipur in Johari Bazar, a global gemstone and jewellery manufacturing and trading centre. This initiative will offer greater convenience and accessibility to jewellers, gemstone traders, manufacturers, exporters, and consumers seeking reliable gemmological testing and certification services.

The centre is a dedicated facility for the submission of coloured gemstones, diamonds, pearls, and jewellery articles for comprehensive laboratory testing and certification.

With the opening of this centre, customers need not visit the laboratory directly. The initiative aims to save time, improve accessibility, and strengthen trust within the gemstone and jewellery ecosystem.

Commenting on the initiative, Shri Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of the GJEPC, said, “We recognise the crucial role Jaipur plays in the global gemstone industry and the need for independent reports by experienced gemmologist using advance instruments is very important to grow India’s exports.”

Shri Yogendra Garg, Regional Chairman of the GJEPC, Jaipur, noted, “We understand the importance of micro and small businesses to grow our industry. The Lab provides a wide range of services of international standards to inspire confidence amongst the buyers.”

Shri Raju Agarwal, President of the Jewellers Association of Jaipur, said, “Jaipur is the colour stone capital of the world. We support IIGJ Lab’s efforts to be close to the industry by establishing collection centre in the premises of Jaipur Jewellers Association enabling small to large businesses to avail of the certification services.”

Ambe Express will continue to be IIGJ Lab’s Logistics Partner.
