Michael Hill International reported a solid FY26 performance, with group sales rising 2.0% to AUD 654.7 million for the 52 weeks ended 28 June 2026, while same-store sales increased 3.0%.
The jewellery retailer expects comparable EBIT of AUD 22 million to AUD 24 million, up 44% to 57% from AUD 15.3 million in FY25, supported by higher sales, stable margins and disciplined cost management.
Canada led performance with 7.0% same-store sales growth, followed by Australia (including Bevilles) at 4.8% and New Zealand at 3.6%.
CEO Jonathan Waecker said: “I’m pleased with our FY26 performance… While the operating environment remains dynamic, we’ve made good progress simplifying the Group and sharpening our focus on Michael Hill and Bevilles. As a result, we’re entering FY27 with a clear strategy and confidence in the opportunities ahead.”
