Milano Jewelery Tour, an initiative dedicated to elevating jewellery communication, founded by Eugenia Gadaleta, will be the official partner for the inaugural edition of Contemporania High Craftsmanship Barcelona, Spain. The event will be held from 28th -30th September 2023.

Conceived by Paulo Ribeiro and organised by Le Departément Interiors SL and Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya, the prestigious Barcelona event will be hosted at the Royal Palace of Pedralbes and will exhibit the best of high craftsmanship. The event has evolved from the previous JOYA Barcelona Art Jewelery and Objects exhibition, which focused on the exploration of contemporary research jewellery.

The exhibition will be open to individual artists, institutions, galleries and group exhibitions. It is the only show in Spain dedicated to high craftsmanship.

Following the recognition of the exceptionally talented South Korean contemporary jewellery designer Eunseok Han, who was honoured for her remarkable “Stay Alive” collection during the previous edition of JOYA, where she emerged victorious in the 13th edition, Eugenia Gadaleta will be present in Barcelona to bestow a new creative talent with a valuable prize. This prize includes a comprehensive communication consultancy and a professionally crafted press kit, aimed at effectively conveying their imaginative concepts to the media.

By Eunseok Han “The award was created with the objective of supporting designers in effectively communicating their business to journalists by giving them with marketing and press office resources. In my professional journey, I interact daily with goldsmiths and creative artists who are excel in their craft, but all too often they lack the key tools required to attain the visibility they deserve. I thank Contemporania for granting me the opportunity to meet extraordinary artists and pass on the right skills to them,” says Eugenia Gadaleta, Milan Jewellery Tour founder.
