GJEPC organised a webinar for its members to gain an insight into the procedure for importing gold under the India-UAE CEPA, which came into effect on 1st May, 2022.
The keynote speaker Shri Md. Moin Afaque, Deputy DGFT, had drafted the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) for importing gold under this trade agreement. Shri Afaque gave a step-by-step explanation of how the application form under TRQ is to be filled and simultaneously raised by the participants.
