GJEPC Delhi RO Empowers Artisans With Parichay Card Camp

The GJEPC Delhi Regional Office, in collaboration with Swarankar Sarvodya Sangh, has successfully organised a Parichay Card Camp for gems and jewellery artisans at Shankar Market, Krishna Nagar, New Delhi.

Mr. M. Rehman Bhutto, General Secretary of Swarankar Sarvodya Sangh, welcomed the esteemed dignitaries. Notable attendees included Mr. Sandeep Kapoor, Counsellor of Krishna Nagar, Delhi; Shri Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman of GJEPC Northern India; Mr. Ashok Suri, General Secretary of East Delhi Jewellers Welfare Association; Mr. Vishan Soni, Member of GJEPC; Ashok Kapoor, President of Swarankar Sarvodya Sangh, and Mr. Sanjay Madaan and Prashant Bhatt, Sr. Managers of GJEPC.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Ashok Seth emphasised the pivotal role played by karigars in the growth of the jewellery trade. He stressed the importance of jewellery associations coming together to support and uplift them. He informed that the Parichay Card would provide karigars with insurance coverage of up to ₹25,000, and those interested could avail an insurance policy of up to ₹1 lakh.

Mr. Bhutto expressed hope that approximately 250 Parichay Cards would be registered during the camp. The Parichay Card Camp initiative by GJEPC empowers and supports gems and jewellery artisans as they receive recognition and essential benefits.
