GJEPC & MBTA Meet Deputy Commissioner Of Meerut To Discuss Jewellery Park Project

A delegation of the GJEPC and the Meerut Bullion Traders Association (MBTA) recently met with Mr. Abhishek Pandey, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Meerut, to discuss the proposed Jewelry Park and land allotment in Meerut, UP.

The GJEPC officials, led by Mr. Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman, GJEPC Northern Region, briefed Pandey and highlighted the benefits of setting up a Jewelry Park in Meerut, which would boost the local economy and generate employment opportunities.

The MBTA representatives, headed by Mr. Pradeep Aggarwal, President, MBTA, presented their vision and requirements for the Jewellery Park, which would provide a conducive environment for the jewellers of Meerut to showcase their products and services. They also requested the Deputy Commissioner to facilitate the allocation of land for the project from the Government of UP.

Pandey asked the MBTA to submit a detailed proposal for the Jewellery Park, along with a preliminary study conducted by a research agency. He also suggested signing a tripartite agreement involving the Government of UP, MBTA, and GJEPC to outline the plan and the next steps for the project. He assured the delegation of his full support and cooperation in the matter.
