HKTDC’s Physical Jewellery Shows Return This Month

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) announced that the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show and the HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will take place from 25th to 29th July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

The dual events will help jewellers and precious stone merchants to seek out new business opportunities amid the pandemic, HKTDC noted, adding that in the first quarter of this year, Hong Kong recorded a year-on-year increase in jewellery exports.

The events will be the HKTDC’s first physical exhibitions to be held since the pandemic began and, for the first time, both shows will adopt a physical and online hybrid model.

In addition, the physical element of the shows at the HKCEC will be open to industry buyers and also to the general public, providing an opportunity for jewellery lovers to shop for precious items. The online business matching service for trade buyers will be available from 25th July to 5th August, 2021.
