CSR Initiatives

As conscious capitalists, it is almost given that business performance results in financial success. However, their capabilities extend far beyond generating profits. They think of making a lasting and positive difference in the lives of those around them. And yet, the argument at large is that while there is an advancement of social responsibility in the corporate field, it is simply not enough. Fifteen years ago, Kama Schachter decided to make a difference in the community, and they have learnt a lot about business and life in the process.

Since its founding in 1996, Kama has instituted a policy of hiring differently abled workers, who account for 10 per cent of the company’s workforce.
