Alrosa Ranks First Among Metals & Mining Companies In ‘Institutional Investor’ Survey

Alrosa placed among the top three best-performing publicly traded metals and mining companies, based on the votes of international investors and investment banks in an annual ranking by Institutional Investor, a leading international B2B publisher focused primarily on international finance.

Buy-side investors awarded the top position to the company in five out of seven categories. The annual ranking focuses on the achievements of publicly traded companies from the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Institutional Investor’s ranking is based on the survey of several hundreds of analysts and portfolio managers conducted in March and April 2020 to assess CEOs, CFOs, IR professionals and teams, Investor Day events held by companies, ESG credentials and corporate IR programmes.

The Metals & Mining ranking covered a total of more than 30 companies, with Alrosa taking top positions in all seven categories. Moreover, buy-side respondents considered Alrosa to be the absolute leader in five out of seven categories: Sergey Ivanov was recognised as the best CEO, Alexey Philippovskiy as the best CFO and Sergey Takhiev the best IR professional, while Alrosa’s IR programme and Investor Day 2020 ranked as the best in the industry.
